The Spring Azure is
feeding on Ceanothus Wheeler
Canyon. The Spring Azure has flights
early in the Spring. Caterpillars are fond of Ceanothus, Chinese
Houses, and Sumac. Adults eat nectar from a wide variety of sources
including Ceanothus and the Buckwheats.
The Spring Azure Butterflies can often be found clustered around puddles.
