Ceanothus Joan Mirov ~ California Lilac

Ceanothus Joan Mirov is a selection of a naturally occuring hybrid from along the Sonoma Coast. Ceanothus Joan Mirov grows to 4 feet tall and 10 or more wide. Like with many coastal selections inland heat can stress this Ceanothus but given some intermittent Summer water Ceanothus Joan Mirov will thrive in most of the places in California that folks garden. The dark blue flowers in early Spring put on a great show, contrasting nicely with the finely textured dark green foliage. Ceanothus Joan Mirov is a host plant for the Western Tussock Moth Caterpillar.
