leucantha midnight: Mexican Sage |
| For the
last several years primarily this variety has been available in my neck of the
woods. 10 years ago it was only the species that was available. I like to use
whatever all of the other guys are not. Both the species and the cultivar grow to the same dimensions
and with the same conditions. Both are pretty, both are hardy. Click on the image to go back to the species.
Salvia leucantha is a great addition to the butterfly
garden as well as the hummingbird
garden.
