Salvia leucantha Danielle's Dream - Mexican Sage

A White and Pink Mexican Sage, Salvia leucantha Danielle's Dream is a stunning version of a hardy garden sage. Salvia leucantha Danielle's Dream grows in a variety of soils, even in heavy clay. This sage will survive in light shade but really prefers a warm sunny location. Salvia leucantha Danielle's Dream is a great nectar source for the Mournful Duskywing, Sara Orangetip, White Checkered Skipper, and the California Dogface Butterfly and is a nice addition to the Butterfly Garden as well as the hummingbird garden. Salvia leucantha Danielle's Dream is hardy into the teens but the top will burn off if temperatures dip below the mid 20°'s.
