Penstemon 'Hidcote Pink' ~ Beard tongue

Penstemon Hidcote Pink puts on a great Spring show of pink blossoms with pale throats and red markings.  This Penstemon likes great soil, full sun, and regular water to look its best.  Plants grow two feet tall and 3 feet or so across.  Penstemon Hidcote Pink performs well with regular dead flower removal.  This Penstemon will take temperatures down to 10 degrees.  I have sometimes had trouble with mites and have cut off the affected portions down to where the new leaves are showing lower on the stem to fairly good success.

High resolution images of Penstemon Hidcote Pink are available.
