Pentagramma triangularis - Goldback Fern

Pentagramma triangularis, or Goldback Fern will grow in sun or shade. If in the sun the Goldback Fern often grows with its roots tucked under a rock. Pentagramma triangularis grows 4-6" tall. The Goldback Fern is drought tolerant and will go Summer dormant when conditions are too dire. Cold conditions are not likely to be an issue either. Pentagramma triangularis grows well above the snow line. Pentagramma triangularis grows nicely in dense shade and will tolerate full sun if the rhizomes are tucked under a substantial stone.
