Salvia mexicana limelight will make a lively statement in your garden.  Purple is never a passive color and coupled with the golden bracts this salvia is very showy.  Salvia mexicana limelight will grow to 4 feet or more tall and wide.  Plants will bloom in full sun to moderate shade.  Salvia mexicana limelight doesn't require much water, and will persist little help at all.  Salvia mexicana limelight is hardy into the low 20's, the foliage will be damaged in the mid-20's
