Passiflora
'Lavender Lady' * Passion Vine |
| I have found Passiflora
lavender lady to be one of the tamer passion vines.
That is not to say that it can't leap small trees, hen houses and more in a single
season. Just that it is a tad slower than its cousins. The flowers are exotic
beyond belief, far too much fun for a garden to be without. They are
tender in the high twenties. I only plant Passiflora lavender lady
in a frost free location. Passion vines have interesting methods
of spreading pollen. And intriguing egg
mimic appendages to fool butterflies that wish to deposit their eggs.
