| This low gray species carnation can fit into the rock
garden as well as the perennial bed. These gorgeous 3/4" blooms will put on a
show all spring. I love the intricate detail of the markings.
Dianthus spotti grows to
18" across and only 3" tall. I have had the same plant persist for 6 years
and going strong, so long as I don't let its neighbors swallow it.
