The
rose Gertrude Jekyll has been a reliable strong grower. Ours have
varied between about
5-8 feet. We have had a wealth of blooms and no problems from this garden
hardy rose. I love to use the old fashioned style roses in the mixed
border. I think they fit better in this setting than in the rose
bed. By mixing the plants I get fewer disease and pest problems.
