Welcome to Cook’s Corner at California Gardens!

Basil

The smell of fresh basil is one of my favorites.  It is so strong and distinct that I can pick it out from a multitude of scents in a growing garden.  When I grow basil in my kitchen window it takes everything I have to not spend the whole day with my face in the plant.
