Anemanthele lessoniana or New Zealand Wind Grass can bring warm foliage colors to the garden. When
grown in full sun the leaves turn orange. Anemanthele lessonia is hardy to 10 degrees. New Zealand
Wind Grass will do its best in good soils with moderate irrigation. This grass may also be found under
its old name Stipa arundinacea. Anemanthele lessoniana will grow a to a generous 2 feet tall by 3 feet wide.
