Thunbergia mysorensis is a
rambunctious enthusiastic grower. The brick and butter vine can
swallow half a house if it is allowed to and the winter climate warm enough. Thunbergia mysorensis plants are tender at
or near freezing temperatures. On the other hand the pendulous red
and yellow flowers produce lots nectar and are great hummingbird
attractors. And they are pretty exotic looking too if you happen to
be in an area where you can grow one. Thunbergia mysorensis is native to the tropics
of India.
