Tecoma X Smithii is
spectacular when in flower and can be the focal point for a garden. Orange Bells grows to 12 feet and can
be trained as a small tree or large shrub. Tecoma X smithii is very
drought tolerant once established but prefers a periodic drink. I have
planted plants in full sun and partial shade. Tecoma X smithii will bloom
better in the sunny location but survive better in the shade if no
irrigation is provided. Tecoma X smithii is a great addition to the hummingbird
garden. Tecoma X smithii is hardy into the mid-low
twenties.
