Prunella laciniata:  Heal All

I can keep Prunella laciniata in bloom from May until frost as long as I am willing to snip the dead flowers.  The strongest blooming period is in May.   I love the pink pagoda flower stalks on Heal All.  Prunella laciniata gradually spreads about 4-6" per year.  Periodically I dig around the outside and take the starts for new plants.   The foliage stays within 3" of the ground, the flowers 8".  Prunus laciniata can be differentiated from Prunella vulgaris by having the toothed leaves.
