Portulaca molokiniensis

Portulaca molokiniensis is a succulent mounding up to 2 feet tall and wide. Portulaca molokiniensis is a native endemic to several small islands near Maui. Portulaca molokiniensis grows near the coast on volcanic scree on the leeward dry sides of the islands. Portulaca molokiniensis grows in full sun to light shade. Portulaca molokiniensis has yellow flowers in the Fall but the leaf pattern is the real attraction. Portulaca molokiniensis is winter hardy to 25-30°F.
