Maireana sedifola * Pearl Bluebush

Maireana sedifolia grows well in a wide range of conditions and can live without additional water in most landscapes.  I have planted the Pearl Bluebush in full sun as well as in shade.  The near white foliage of Maireana sedifolia makes a striking contrast in many settings.  I have used the Pearl Bluebush in succulent gardens, mixed in lavender gardens and in rock gardens.  Maireana sedifolia will grow about 3 feet tall and 4 feet wide.  The Pearl Bluebush has braved Winter temperatures in the low teens.

High resolution images of Mariana sedifolia are available.
