Holodiscus discolor ~ Cream Bush

Holodiscus discolor is a medium to large deciduous shrub growing to 10-15 feet tall and wide. The Cream Bush can live in sun or shade though in our area is mostly found on North facing slopes. Holodiscus discolor blooms late Spring into Summer. The fragrant white flowers are produced at the tips of the branches. Holodiscus discolor is good for attracting the Pale Tiger Swallowtail and Lorquin's Admiral butterflies and hummingbirds too. Holodiscus discolor is not favored by deer.
