Helleborus
niger ~ Christmas Rose, Lentin Rose |

through March would not be the same without the Helleborus niger.
Christmas Rose will put on a constant show of
these nodding gems through the winter. Our plants have gone to
seed. Now some of our Lenten Rose plants have white blooms with
purple speckles and others these rich purple blooms. The original
Helleborus niger plants that we purchased were purple. The foliage of
Helleborus niger is about
12-18" tall and the bloom spikes to 18". Helleborus niger reseeds freely and
is easy to transplant when young.
