Eriophyllum staechadifolium * Seaside Golden Yarrow, Lizard Tail, Wooly Golden Yarrow

Eriophyllum staechadifolium is an easy perennial native to add to your garden.  Eriophyllum staechadifolium is native to the California coast and northern Channel Islands up to an elevation of 300 feet.    Eriophyllum staechadifolium grows up to a foot tall and 1-2 feet wide.  The Seaside Golden Yarrow grows on the coastal bluffs and in well drained sandy soils.  Eriophyllum staechadifolium produces golden yellow flowers from late Spring into Summer.  Eriophyllum saechadifolium is Winter hardy into the mid-20's.
