Clytostoma
callistegioides puts on a great Spring show of trumpet shaped lavender
flowers and will continue to bloom sporadically through Fall. After a rugged Winter of nearly dead looking twigs it is
hard to fathom how such a lush vine could show up. Clytostoma
callistegioides can grow to 20 feet and requires an adequate support
structure to keep everything right side up. Clytostoma
callistegioides will tolerate a fairly dry garden once established.
These vines do best in full sun. Clytostoma callistegioides is
Winter hardy into the low 20's and evergreen in nearly frost free
conditions.
