Clematis armandii * Evergreen Clematis

I use the Clematis armandii much like I would use English ivy on a wall. Clematis armandii doesn't stick to the wall or pull off stucco, all good things, but Evergreen Clematis does require support. I love the dark green foliage, and the profusion of white flowers make the month of March exceptional in my garden. I have grown Evergreen Clematis in full sun and fairly dark shade. Clematis armandii blooms much better in the sun. Except for boggy conditions or extreme drought the plants are very garden hardy. Clematis armandii can cover a building
