Clarkia
purpurea v. quadrivulnera * Four Spot Farewell to Spring |
Clarkia purpurea is sometimes included in seed mixes. It puts on a great show in the late
spring. Clarkia purpurea has a wide range and can often be found in a grassland or shrubby setting near the coast the
length of the state, down into Baja and up to Washington. Like the
rest of the Clarkia group these are fairly dependable from seed.
