The rich almost black-purple leaves of Aeonium arboreum 'Zwartkop' will make a strong visual
statement. The plants grow to about 24-32" Aeonium arboreum Zwartkop plants look striking as a
silhouette against a pale wall or fence or mixed with gray plants. Aeonium arboreum is hardy
into the mid twenties. Darkest colors are evident when plants are get plenty of sun, though
plants do best with a little sun protection in inland gardens.
