Salvia riparia = Salvia viscosa

Salvia riparia bloomed off and on all summer.  This sage has performed well in its shaded location.  Temperatures into the mid 20's were not a problem for Salvia riparia.  I have provided almost no care at all once this sage settled in.  Salvia riparia gets about 3 feet tall and wide.  Salvia riparia is a good addition to the Hummingbird Garden as well as the Butterfly Garden.
