Salvia adenophora is a
long blooming sage almost never without flowers except during the coldest
weeks of Winter. In our garden Salvia adenophora has grown 5 feet
tall and gradually spread to 8 feet. Salvia adenophora spreads by
underground rhizomes. Our record breaking freeze a few years back
knocked off the foliage. Temperatures hovered in the mid teens
several nights running. Salvia adenophora was back and blooming
inside the month. Salvia adenophora is a good addition to the hummingbird
garden and the butterfly
garden
