St. Swithun * Introduced in 1994

St. Swithun has interesting flowers, as the buds form there is mystery, is it white, is it red?  Once it opens the flowers are pink fading to almost white.   St. Swithun can be a large shrub, growing to 6-8 feet tall and can easily be trained as a climber.  The new foliage is bronzed.  St Swithun is disease resistant and has not had problems in our garden.
