Pretty Jessica Rose * David Austin Rose * Introduced in 1983

The Pretty Jessica rose produces beautiful pink blooms on a small bush. This does not fit the usual picture of a David Austin press release. This sweet smelling bush gets to 3 feet or so. There is a slight tendency towards rust and mildew so it is probably best to plant them away from the coast or foggy areas. The Pretty Jessica rose is almost always in bloom. The parents include 'Wife of Bath' and a seedling. I like plants that don't bite back, this is a nearly thornless rose.
