David Austin Roses |
Mary Rose * Introduced in 1983 |
| Mary Rose is a strong growing shrub that gets 5 feet or more
tall. The rich pink densely petaled flowers evoke the image that I have of the old
damask roses. Mary Rose is very fragrant and a great cut flower.
It has bloomed and repeated reliably though it takes a bit of a break
with the heat of the summer. The parents include 'The Wife
of Bath' and 'The Miller'. Mary Rose was released by David Austin
in 1983.
