Golden Celebration * Introduced in 1992 |
| Golden
Celebration has been a rose of moderate 4 foot stature. The yellow blooms
have a blush of pink and a distinct notch in the petals. The flowers of this
rose have a tendency to nod. I have noticed no disease problems.
But it has not been a terrifically strong grower either. When
compared to some of the huge Austin roses that is not always a bad
thing. The growth pattern of Golden Celebration is rather like
a yellow version of Iceberg.
The parents of Golden Celebration include Charles Austin and
Abraham Darby.
