English Elegance Rose * David Austin Rose * Introduced in 1986

I love the blousy loose flowers of the English Elegance Rose. These roses have a wonderful pink to apricot shading. The bush arches 8-10 foot canes into a nearby apricot tree. I have had little problem with disease, though mildew and blackspot are reputed to be issues near the coast. The English Elegance Rose flowers are somewhat shortlived as a cutflower. But they hold well on the plants. English Elegance is a great rose for the casual garden.
