The Ellen Rose * Introduced in 1984

The rose Ellen is fully double and very fragrant.   The rose will grow to 4-5 feet tall.  Ellen is great for cutting but like most roses requires a full day of sun.  The Ellen Rose was introduced by David Austin in 1984.  I think that too many gardens are lost in a sea of pink.  Rich salmon flowers deserve a place in the garden.  The warm colors quicken the heart.  They make a transition color for the other warm colors.

Ellen is the result of a cross between Charles Austin and a seedling.
