Charlotte * Introduced in 1993

The Charlotte Rose is the result of a cross between 'Chaucer' and 'Conrad Ferdinand Meyer' and this rose was crossed with 'Graham Thomas'.

The Charlotte Rose will grow to 5-6 feet or more.  I treat Charlotte as a climber and have been rewarded with a great show each year. The inner petals are a deep yellow and the outer a very pale yellow.  It reminds me of the range of colors of the 'Graham Thomas' as the flowers age but the flowers are more cup shaped.  Charlotte is a couple of sizes smaller than its well renowned parent.
