Brother Cadfael Rose

| The Brother Cadfael Rose is a tall and nearly thornless rose, and fragrant too.
What more could you want for the back border than a rose than can leap to more than
8 feet. A large rose like Brother Cadfael can make a great
statement. I prune Brother Cadfael and other large English roses
like climbers. That gives me the greatest blooming results. It
also limits how much tangled foliage there is to collect fungal diseases.
The parents of Brother Cadfael include 'Charles Austin' crossed with a seedling.
