Queen Elizabeth: Introduced 1954

Queen Elizabeth is an exceptionally robust rose for us.  Ours Queen Elizabeth Rose gets more than 12 feet tall each year.   I cut flower sprays with 3 foot canes and 10 or more flowers.  The flowers are a high centered tea type bloom and there are usually an abundance of them from spring through January pruning.   Due to the exceptional size of the plant Queen Elizabeth gets more comment than any other rose in our garden.

This rose was developed by Dr. W. E. Lamerts in the USA from  a cross between Charlotte Armstrong and Floradora.
