Swiss Chard with Walnuts and Golden
Raisins
1 pound swiss chard
3 tablespoons olive oil
3-4 large garlic cloves, thinly sliced
1/4 cup walnuts
3 tablespoons golden raisins
Lightly steam the swiss chard until softened, but still
bright in color, about 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat and reserve.
Soak the raisins in hot water until ready to use.
Heat the oil in a large saute pan. Add the garlic
and saute briefly. Add the walnuts and toss to coat with oil.
Add the swiss chard and toss briefly. Remove from heat and add the
raisins. Serve immediately.
